Hello from JustAnswer.
It will help if you could provide some further information.
How long has this been bothering you?
Have you noticed anything other than walking that worsens the pain?
Have you tried any medicines to help with the pain?
How old are you?

I had asked for some additional information and have not heard back.
There are many possible causes of knee pain. The most common cause of knee pain is from degenerative arthritis, although this would be less common in young adults. In young adults, it would be more worrisome that there may be a sprain, or if the pain is more persistent or severe, a ligament tear.
If the primary concern would be degenerative arthritis, the appropriate first step would be an over the counter anti-inflammatory medicine, such as ibuprofen or naproxen. If the primary concern is a sprain, then an anti-inflammatory medicine may still be appropriate, but it would also be appropriate to support the knee with a brace.
If these interventions have already been tried, then it would be appropriate to be seen by your doctor.
If I can provide any further information, please let me know.
