I spoke with one of your drs yesterday. Diagnosed with
Diagnosed with scarring in apex if both lungs for sev years, now a nodule seen 2.1cm x 1.8 cm. The PET scan also picked up a 6mm nodule in left breast, and 2mm nodule in thyroid. The lung SUV WAS 1.9 and delayed at 2.5. Never smoked. Have sinus and allergies. Constant drip back of throat. ENT said all clear above neck. The PET also found a 2mm nodule on my thyroid. The pulmonologist is suggesting I schedule surgery for the lung and if its benign they would stop it. How reliable would just a biopsy be? … read more
