I had thyroid cancer back in 2001. I was in the hospital

Customer Question

I had thyroid cancer back in 2001. I was in the hospital this week with what appeared to be a pnemonia. No symptems of that. I had a ct scan done and they saw alesion on the right lower lobe of my lung. This is what i think they saw. I smoked and quit in 2006. Smoked for 15 years. They have been seeing this for about 1 year. Could this be cancer. Or what should they do

Cancer usually grows rapidly , if they are monitoring it for last one year and there is no change in its size than this is most likely benign lesion and not cancer which need monitoring what , they are doing .

So in this case follow up is needed .
