1) Swollen nodes in armpits and groin area both sides for 9-10 months
2) No direct pain but uncomfortable to the tissue swell if that makes sense.
3) If I apply vaseline to area to prevent tissue rub helps with the friction/irritation
4) No weight loss in fact working hard to lose weight
5) Do have dental issues with bad/broken teeth maybe bacterial? (getting teeth pulled and permanent upper arch procedure in November
6) Am having prostate symptoms (frequent urination, irritation, feels better when bladder voided most the time. Pain/discomfort in rectal area off and on. Pain scale not very high maybe a 4 at worst. Prostate checked 2 years ago.

This is Dr. David

how large are these lymph nodes? how old are you? are you male or female?

just being able to feel a lymph node doesn't mean it is enlarged.

vasaline is a bad idea in your arm pit as this increases blocked skin pores and increase chances for fungal infections.

sounds like you are worried about cancer

you can get an ultrasound scan of your arm pit and groin lymph nodes,

but I bet it would show normal sized lymph nodes 1-2 cm in size in those areas

it is normal to have many lymph nodes in those areas since those are lymph node beds.

lymph nodes are part of our body's immune system and are there to filter lymphatic fluid to help keep us healthly

let me know if you have questions.
