Nose bleeds, heavy cycles
VWD tests were negative, bone marrow test this week.
Should I be concerned about leukemia?

  • The WBC is normal. So, there is no indication of Leukemia
  • She has isolated low Plts count, which is being investigated and bone marrow is planned
  • I would not be concerned about Leukemia at this point. It is premature to think about any serious condition. She is getting a bone marrow this week. No worries, just wait for the results

With dealing with health issues of our kids, this is not an unusual reaction. We tend to think negative, of the worst case scenario, and it's understandable. From my own personal experience, and as a physician, don't draw any premature conclusions, just follow the process wait for the results. This is unlikely to be serious
