Customer Question

Hi Dr. David ,
I am a 51 year old woman , I had a colanoscopy 2years that was fine .
Today I had a BM that was hard ( I'm not constipated I went once already this morning and I go regularly everyday ) that had pink mucus on it , attached to it.
I'm horribly worried, I'm very stressed in my life right now..
Do you think this is cancer ?

HelloHi I am Doctor Thomas, a double board certified US doctor in internal medicine and integrative medicine, with advanced training in several other fields. I am a clinician of over 20 years experience. I will give you an initial answer or ask you a question, but be sure to use reply to expert to communicate with me as needed. There is no way this is cancer with a clean colonoscopy 2 years ago.Not a chance.Possibilities are:hemorrhoids: most likelyDiverticulosis, these are pockets in the bowel that can bleed, a tiny bit, or a lot. Talk to your doctor. Review the findings on your colonoscopy from two years ago.Not cancer. OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. Also, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent—that’s how we are paid, per rating]. If you forgot something, come back. I am here daily.
