hemoglobin of 16.8 is a bit on the high side.

this can come from dehydration if you are not drinking enough water, this can concentrate your red blood cells and increase your hemoglobin levels

you should get your iron levels checked to see if they are too high as well.

high iron levels can cause high hemoglobin levels.

I am not worried about your monocyte levels

erythrocytosis means high red cell count. what is your WBC count? is that high as well

if you have high white and high red blood cell count, you could have polycythemia
