I am sorry about the fallopian tube cancer.

this is a rare cancer and we often treat it similarly to ovarian cancer.

I would go with the more aggressive surgery to begin with to debult the tumor as much as possible., cut out as much as possible and then go with the chemotherapy afterwards

the vaccine is a good idea as well, but this is most likely experimental as well.

sounds like the surgery option might be at a larger academic medical center if they are making vaccines

I have gone for yet a third opinion. Doctor number three is also at a large teaching hospital and recommends shrinking with chemo as a safer option. Maybe adding Avastin into the mix. I've also asked about PARP inhibitors as an option. Very concerned because now tumor has been found on vaginal cuff and colon so they think shrinking with chemo first might be a good idea. I've had a long remission so I hope I will again. I have three opinions two are for chemo, the one surgery. A bowel resection was mentioned. That is giving me pause because I don't want a colostomy bag. Thanks for your input if you have any other ideas as to help me please let me know. I am every devastated by this news.
