JA: Have you checked to make sure the thermostat is working? What about the coolant level?
Customer: Yes and yes. Girlfriend tried to start it and heard a pop. Thought maybe a fuse and checked all hvac fuses
JA: What year is your Bravada?
Customer: 99
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Checked all hvac fuses under hood anddriver side fuse panel
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Hi there.

That issue with the dead HVAC controls can be usually traced to a faulty ignition switch. If you have basic skills and tools that include a voltmeter, I'd be more than happy to guide you through the diagnostic steps to confirm the fault.
