I have a 97 Bravada that I sort of inherited. When I add coolant it seems to go straight to the oil(without running engin) what are probable causes.

I am sorry your having this problem

when these leak coolant like this into the oil/crankcase the issue is the lower intake manifold usually cracked as they were made out of plastic when they crack or delaminate it will leak coolant right into the oil/crankcase

replacing the lower intake manifold gaskets usually corrects this issue
