Error code SC534 on your Ricoh C6000 means "duplexer fan error" however it could also be caused by a voltage problem, so it is not possible to reset this error just with some easy steps.
Do you see anything else before the SC534 error code? Is there another part to the error message?

Do you have a voltmeter available for troubleshooting?

prior to this it showed function error and required restart where would i use the voltmeter to check

Check the voltage going to the duplexer fan to ensure it is getting power. If there is no voltage, check the wiring for any defects.

If it is getting voltage but not working then the fan will need to be replaced.
