Can I change a xerox dc 12 fused myself? Where can I get one? This machine is a back up machine but don't want to get rid off it if I can do this job cheaply

No fuser for that model is sold online that I can find. One 'fuser oil, bottle' or similar, is sold. The fuser oil bottle is a different matter from the fuser, need I say.

This fuser evidently has three rollers in it... a complex assembly. The closest thing to a replacement fuser I have found is one of the rollers, only:,true&chn=ps&lpid=82,82

This treatise (of sorts) on the DC12 and esp. on its fuser system and fuser oil system, is of some note with regard to your question:

and yes, fuser oil can be needed. What problem does your DC12 display on printouts, that fuser or fuser oil might possibly address, please?
