What is the Operating System of the computer it is connected to? ...and how is it connected using what kind of cable(s) please?
Even if "...wont scan...", would it "COPY" as expected?
Tried a search of your "...fix my print before..." Unfortunately, it would not show.
Still, let's try the basics first; have you tried another USB port of your computer? ...another USB cable? check that there is only 1 instance of the Canon Color imageCLASS MF8280Cw installed in your computer? Or perhaps better yet, have you tried deleting previous installation including drivers and start fresh/new install?
I am currently mobile and located in another region hence neither would work.
Would you perhaps prefer another site member for a second opinion/alternate approach to your concern?
