Epson Workforce 630 scanner belt appears to be slipping upon start-up making a clicking noise and rendering the printer useless. Shows a scanner error.

Hi there,

The scan head may be stiff and need some lubricating grease applied to help loosen it up and stop the belt slipping.

The printer will need to be opened up, and a thin layer of white grease applied to the scan head mechanism.
