Are you (perhaps) printing from Photoshop? or some similar Adobe product? if so, you might have a problem with Photoshop, which has elaborate controls that are easy to get wrong... and ought to make test prints of color photos or graphics using the MS Paint program, which has no complex controls for color presentation whatsoever.

How did the problem first show up, what was your first impression of it?

Are you using genuine Fuji/Xerox cartridges for toner in this machine?
