Slight irritation on lining...

Slight irritation on lining below stomach where vaginal area is, not pain. Just dull and feel’s aggravating if I bend over. Feels like pressure in it if I suck in or breathe hard. Pain in right hip. Gradually got annoying over the past couple of days. Headache. Threw up a couple of times. Sluggish. Late period, latest was March 11th.

Doctor's Assistant: The OB/GYN Doctor can help. Just a couple quick questions before I transfer you. Is the hip pain constant or does it come and go?

Tylenol

Doctor's Assistant: What are all the medications you're currently using, either for the hip pain or anything else? How old are you?

Only Tylenol/Midol, I am 19.

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

I was on the nexplanon birth control implant, which was removed in January, I’ve had a normal period up until March 11th.

Have you been sexually active in the last 3 months or so?
Have you had a pregnancy test, when was the last one and how was it?
Do you have any issues with your bowel movements, diarrhea, constipation, etc?
Do you have a fever?

ma'am,
I have been consistently active in the last three months. Around the first month or so, we encouraged condoms strongly and then after that kind of just stopped and hoped for the best. So he's not.. you know. Pull out method.
I've taken a pregnancy test last week, negative. I also took 2 yesterday, cheap $1 tests but a test is a test. Also negative.
I'm a little constipated, I feel super hungry in the mornings and stuff but I'm awake usually around an hour or two before this occurs.
No fever.

Discomfort in the lower abdominal area can be due to a number of reasons from gynecological issues (pregnancy, STDs, etc) to bowel related issues or muscular related.

At the moment, as your period has been delaying so much while you have been sexually active, I would consider having a blood HCG test to confirm it is normal. This can be ordered by your local doctor or you can use online lab services such as https://www.ultalabtests.com/test/hcg-total-quantitative. If the HCG is under 6 then you are not pregnant and these symptoms are not related to pregnancy.

If you notice any pain that concentrates in the right side, a check to rule out appendicitis would be indicated.

Also, you can take Ibuprofen and Tylenol to help with the discomfort at the moment and try to rest. If you have difficult bowel movements, taking some psyllium husk will help ease them and take plenty of water.

If the discomfort is not better with these measures or you think it is any worse, a check would be needed.
