Hi I’m 8 weeks pregnant I recently started spotting and I had like very small clots am I okay

My pregnancy has been good I’ve been taking preNatals I’ve been taking it easy and I just started like maybe 2 days ago very light spotting

Doctor's Assistant: What are all the medications you're currently using, either for the spotting or anything else?

Doctor's Assistant: And any stomach pain, dizziness, or vaginal discharge?

No stomach pain , no dizziness & vaginal discharge I don’t think so

Hello yes I've had an ultra sound already I have another appointment on the 19thno no cramping at all

Ok, since you have had an ultrasound already, that is reassuring that this would not be anything dangerous like an ectopic pregnancy. With bleeding with clots, this could either be a miscarriage, or a threatened miscarriage, which just means there is bleeding, but the pregnancy continues on without any further problems. The most important way to tell the difference is with a speculum exam to look at the cervix to see if it is open or not, and getting an ultrasound is usually also done to evaluate the fetus. So since there is no pain and this is not an ectopic pregnancy, I wouldn't say this is anything urgent you need to go to the ER for, but if you could get in to see your doctor sooner than the 19th, in the next few days, that would be good to see whether this is a miscarriage or not.
