What should I do about bleeding after sex? I have never had a Pap

I just had sex...

I just had sex and was bleeding a lot kind of as if I was on my period. There was discomfort and stretching and get it to fit. My concern is that this should not be happening and I’m still bleeding about an hour after should I go to a doctor?

Doctor's Assistant: The OB/GYN Doctor can help. Just a couple quick questions before I transfer you. Are you using any contraceptives? How long have you dealt with the bleeding?

This is my first time bleeding this bad I was a little spotty my first time but I’m not very sexually active. I took a plan B

Doctor's Assistant: When was your last pap test, and what were the results? Any swelling, discoloration, or unusual smells?

I have never had a Pap test. No swelling just discomfort no unusual smells just a lot of blood

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

No I don’t think so

Last normal period was 2 months ago the last period started March 21 ended March 25 it was heavier than normal in the first two days! I thought it was do to stress.Intercourses about 3 hours ago! Plan b about 2

I have not been on brith control. I have always had normal and regular periods maybe a little early. It was when intercourse started and it has not stopped yet

I think it was the 19-24 of feb
Im 24 years old. With a person yes I have used toys before had a little bleeding. It was a lot during intercourse now it is less maybe like a mild period

How many pads have you soak through? Any severe pain in your vagina? Can I see your pad?

I do not have a pad. I only usually only use tampons. Its more of discomfort with slight pain. You can see my underwear.

I have changed my underwear I went through one more about 3 hours ago after intercourse.the bleeding is slowing down i think

The bleeding is from trauma from sexual intercourse. On the first sexual encounter your hymenal ring was torn by the penetration. From y\what you told me , the bleeding has slowed down and almost stopped. I don't think anything serioud has happened. You took the Plan B in time and you should be protected from pregnancy. Plan B can delay your next period or causing vaginal bleeding or spotting a week after taking it.

try to put on KY jelly before the intercourse cause it reduce the friction and can prevent lots of bleeding.
