What discomfort specifically?
Do you have vaginal discharge, foul-smelling or just whitish to yellow discharge? Is there pain in the vagina?
OK. three things im considering right now.
First is vaginal dryness which can cause vaginitis. This will result to beginning infection thus dull ache at the start but will eventually produce discharge.
Second, is beginning infection in you gland, probably bartholins gland. It is located at the inner lip of you vagina that when you walk or sit, it gets the pressure an dfriction, hence the pain.
Third, vaginal irritation probably secondary to tight pants/undies, or pantyliners that cause vaginal irritation hence pain. It can also be from recent sexual intercourse if you had one that could have caused mild vaginal irritation.
as long as there is no foul smelling vaginal discharge or swelling, you are okay. You can just take ibuprofen 3x a day instead of acetaminophen, because ibuprofen has properties that also decrease the inflammation/irritation and also the pain.
You may also apply cold compress from time to time. Use mild soap in washing the area, preferably mild rubbing or washing for now to lessen the irritation. This should help you best!
