Hello my name is***** am a board-certified physician with over 15 years of clinical experience and I am happy to help you. Can you tell me please, are you experiencing any pain? Was intercourse with your husband on Friday at all rough or painful? Are you having any vaginal discharge at all beside the bleeding?

No pain. No more then usual discharge I usually have.
OB GYN Doctor: Richard Han, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago
I see, thank you for that information. He most likely possibilities are 1. a small abrasion or tear in your vaginal tract or cervix, not enough to hurt, but enough to bleed, in which case it should heal just fine in its own. 2. Mild breakthrough bleeding, i.e. leftover uterine lining from your previous period, sloughing off now just at the beginning of your new pills pack when hormonal levels are just rising up again, in which case it should simply clear up going into next week as you continue on your pills. My recommendation is to just keep an eye on the bleeding amount and frequency and if it improves/resolves, then problem solved. If it worsens you should see your GYN for an in person evaluation as to the cause.
Can I help with anything else today?
