It is extremely rare of failure of tubal ligation. Though recanalization of tubes is known.

Thus chance of pregnancy is very low.

You have two alternatives;

1) Repeat a pregnancy test again.

2) Get a blood pregnancy test which is very sensitive.

Apart from pregnancy there are other causes of missed or delayed periods;

1) Ovarian hormone dysfunctions

2) Thyroid hormone abnormalities

3) Stress, anxiety, emotional disorders

4) Sudden weight loss or gain

5) Excessive physical activity

6) Hyperprolactinemia

Read the resource under the heading secondary amenorrhea;

Please feel free for your follow up questions. I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.Thanks for using Just Answer.

Nausea can occur in any hormonal issue.

So it is not unique symptom for pregnancy.

These are positive pregnancy test.

You need to go to your doctor to get ectopic gestation ruled out immediately, which is common after tubal ligation.

You would need blood pregnancy test as well as an ultrasound.
