Dear customer

Thank you for being online.

Prozac (fluoxetine) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant.

There is no interaction of this drug with progesterone.

The weird feeling may be due to hormonal changes you are getting because you stopped the hormones for few days & then re-started it again.

There may be possibility of hormonal imbalance.

As you will continue taking it,hopefully you should feel better.

So my advise for you is to please continue taking progesterone as advised & wait & watch for the next few days.

Thank you.

Hope this helped

To be clear I am on bi-est 60/4O . As I raise the Prozac I have extreme anxiety. When I got off hormones for 3 days I feel much calmer. Is this a coincidence? My doc thinks I should get back on since I had such a hard time with menopause symptoms but I am afraid of the extreme anxiety

Prozac and Bi-est 60/40 do not have drug interactions.

Your rise of anxiety may have been coincidence.

It is privilege assisting you.

Please feel free for your follow up questions.

I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.
