Hypothyroidism can cause irregular / excessive menstrual bleed. Is your thyroid issue well controlled?

I am taking levitoroxine 50mg but there is more than 1 year that I don't test the levels
OB GYN Doctor: Dr.Saleem, Doctor replied 3 months ago

Well hypothyroidism is one of the common causes of dysfunctional bleeding and i would recommend you to get your thyroid profile tested.

Other hormones like LH, FSH and Testosterone / Prolactin also are needed to be tested to find out the cause here.

Hope it was helpful.

Let me know if you have further queries

can be cancer?

OB GYN Doctor: Dr.Saleem, Doctor replied 3 months ago

It could be anything but we need to think about common things first . Once these are ruled out ,it can be investigated further. No need to panic about it this early. Menopause seems early for your age though

what I should do if my period came again in the end of month? how can I not have this
OB GYN Doctor: Dr.Saleem, Doctor replied 3 months ago

You can take pill to regularize your cycle but we need to see your hormone profile first, till then you need to wait and watch .

Ask Your Own OB GYN Question
OB GYN Doctor: Dr.Saleem, Doctor replied 3 months ago

Exact cause would need a gynecological exam , a pelvic ultrasound and complete hormone panel as i mentioned. But we cannot jump to more serious diagnosis without considering the more common ones.

Hope your query is addressed.

Feel free to ask any more queries.

Please reward a 5 stars rating if you are satisfied.

Wishing you a healthy life.

Kind regards
