Hello, my name is***** and I shall be assisting you today. I'm reviewing your query & will get back to you shortly. Thank you for your patience.

Ask Your Own OB GYN Question

Yes, cervix dilation can occur without full blown contractions. If you feel pressure in the pelvis and moderate to severe pain it is better to rule out cervical incompetence or start of labor.

Hope this helps.
