I am simply concerned as to what my body is trying to tell

Customer Question

i am simply concerned as to what my body is trying to tell me. It all started in mid September, I had an ovarian cyst rupture. Then at my October annual appointment, I wound up having an abnormal pap smear. And now in November I just had an unusual-to-me period/light bleeding episode that lasted for 4 days, a week prior to when I am supposed to have my period. I am 24years old, have never had anything really unusual in my reproductive health, and have been on a low dose birth control pill since I was 17years old. I have had the same partner for almost 5 years. I believe I have maybe had 2 episodes of breakthrough bleeding since being on birth control. And I have never had a pregnancy. My doctor has me scheduled for a colposcopy in a little over a week for follow up. I just wish I knew what was going on. Do you think all these issues are related? What changes are possibly happening after having a clean record thus far? Or are there too many possibilities to really try to guess?

increased stress or anxiety or weight loss can cause irregular periods.

we don't know why some people have ovarian cyst ruptures.

how was your pap abnormal?

have you been sexually active?

all of your gyn symptoms are not pointing to one medical problem.
