I have had two miscarriages due to a Protein C clotting

Customer Question

Hello - I have had two miscarriages due to a Protein C clotting disorder, and am currently carrying for the third time. I am 6 weeks pregnant. This has been classified as a high-risk pregnancy, and an MFM indicated I need to start taking blood thinners as soon as I got pregnant; but he is not available for appointment until next month, and no other doctor is available either. I know that I need to start taking blood thinners IMMEDIATELY if I am to have a shot at saving this baby, but not doctor is available to prescribe these to me. Can you please help?!

Congratulations on your pregnancy :)

You are quite correct that you have a high risk pregnancy, and an early evaluation and blood thinners are DEFINITELY needed soon.

Ask for an IMMEDIATE second opinion with some experienced Ob/Gyn, as you do not want an unmonitored pregnancy ... this can lead to a recurrent abortion,

Warm regards
