For the past 3 day I have had on and off brown spotting very light. I came to pcp and said i had a negative pregnancy test. What should i do?

Sometimes if your period doesn't come or comes incomplete, for example when you didn't have a normal ovulatory cycle, then you might just have some brown spotting which is clotted blood in the endometrium of the uterus. This is very normal.

If you aren't having any discomfort then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Your did a pregnancy test and as long as you don't think you may have inadvertently left in a tampon there should be nothing to be concerned about. Does that help?
