there are many different strains of HPV or human papilloma virus

this is a virus which can be spread through sexual contact and can invade into your cervix and can be seen on pap smear evaluation and can cause abnormal cells on your cervix.

it is not a life long virus an d90% of adults can clear the virus out of their body in 1-2 years

I'm glad your doctor is doing a colposcopy to check on your cervix.

hopefully that will go well

let me know if you have questions.
