Customer Question

Hi. I had a simple LEEP done 3 days ago. I have experienced no spotting, bleeding, discharge or smell. However, I passed something that feels like chicken skin. It's about 3"x2". No smell or discomfort.
Is this something I should be concerned about? My Dr's office is closed for the weekend.

This is Dr. David

most likely you passed a clot or scab from the cervix from the LEEP procedure.

which is 100% ok

if you are not actively bleeding, you are fine.

you don't have to worry

you will heal up from your LEEP procedure.

Hi I am dr. Iqtidar. An occasional clots doesn't matter. A scanty brown vaginal discharge that shouldn't smell is what we expect after the LEEP procedure. As long as you aren't in any discomfort, severe pain not controlled by painkillers or got a fever it should be fine. But if you feel unwell see a physician.

During first 3 weeks you will get small amounts of blood and may pass occasional clots too. Hope this helps. If you are satisfied with my answer please leave me a positive rating.
