I recently had a biopsy done and the doctor put on my chart

Customer Question

I recently had a biopsy done and the doctor put on my chart aggregate of irregular fragments of tan soft tissue and mucus. what does this mean? do I have cancer?

It just means that he found irregular bits of tissue which were tan in color. there were also mucus mixed with the tissue. This does not suggest cancer. A microscopic study of the tissues will now be done for an accurate diagnosis.

it being tan in color is that bad or good. Should I be concerned?

Tan color is neither good or bad. It just indicates the color of the tissue being taken for biopsy - tan is a natural color of this tissue.
