7 years ago I supposedly had a partial hysterectomy. A month

Customer Question

Hi. 7 years ago I supposedly had a partial hysterectomy. A month ago I had surgery on an ovarian cyst and was told my uterus looked healthy. I haven't had a menstrual cycle since 2008. Is this possible? I'm completely confused

It's confusing for me also.

A partial hysterectomy generally means removal of the uterus without removing the ovaries.

A woman cannot have a hysterectomy (of any kind) and still have a uterus.

If you can get the hospital surgery dictation, that should clear it up. Your doctor can request that, possibly with your signature.

Something doesn't compute.
