What was the date of the ultrasound? Thank you.

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
The date was August 20th for the ultra sound

An ultrasound of 6 weeks 6 days on August 20 gives a conception date of about July 17.

Remember that when the ultrasound (or the doctor) says you're 6 weeks 6 days pregnant, that means that conception occurred 4 weeks 6 days ago. the reason is that by tradition, a pregnancy is dated from first day of last period (approximately 2 weeks before conception). When ultrasound began being used to date pregnancies, that tradition remained, so any dating of a pregnancy is 2 weeks longer than the actual duration of the pregnancy.
