Customer Question

I had a baginal hysterectomy June 16th and a subsequent vaginal cuff infection. I was given the all clear for sex eight weeks post op which would be August 11th. Would it be ok to have sex 24 hours early?

Hello and welcome.
I am Dr. Norm, and I look forward to helping you today.
Yes, 8 weeks is a general time period, and a few days one way or the other won't make any difference.
Most women are healed well before 8 weeks, even having a cuff infection after surgery.
Generally it's best to wait until you've had a post operative vaginal exam before having sex.
