I have a pea sized painful nodule on my labia majora. I'm also immune suppresses on Cytoxan for an autoimmune disease. I had a complete hysterectomy in 2008. I'm worried because breast and ovarian cancer is extremely common in young women on my maternal side. My mom died at age 47 dx stage 4 bc at 42. There are 6 others from age 18 - 42, some survived and 3 didn't. Am I overreacting? It hurts to walk, urinate, and I had to stop Intercourse with my husband.

From your description it appears to be bartholin cyst.Other possibilities care infected labial cyst, sebaceous cyst.

You should star a systemic antibiotic to reduce the infection and removal of the cyst there after.
