If you did not have intercourse the day before or the day

This answer was rated:

If you did not have intercourse the day before or the day after you ovulated, but you did have it on the actual day your calendar predicted you were ovulating, what is the likelihood you are pregnant?
Welcome and thank you for the question.
The likelihood of becoming pregnant when you have intercourse on the day of ovulation is very good.
The ovum can be fertilized for 24-48 hours after ovulation and sex on the day of ovulation increases the likelihood of pregnancy. The sperm can fertilize an ovum upto 48-72 hours after sexual intercourse.
I hope this helps.

What if you cleaned yourself out immediately after intercourse because it wasn't intended? probably a dumb question. but i have to ask.

Even if you clean yourself, enough sperms remain viable and will have entered the upper part of the vagina and some inside the uterus. These can cause a pregnancy.
