I'm 23 weeks pregnant and just did my 2 hr glucose tolerance

This answer was rated:

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and just did my 2 hr glucose tolerance test. Fasting is 4.4 mmol/l. 1 hr is 8.9 mmol/l and 2 hr is 7.2 mmol/l. This looks normal right? I had to do the 2 hr test because I failed the 1 hr one. Does this means I'm ok for the rest of the pregnancy?
Welcome and thank you for your question.
The GTT is usually done between 24 - 28 week of pregnancy. You are now in your 24th week.
Your GTT is normal . Unless you have a family history of diabetes or are overweight or teh baby is found to be very large for date in later pregnancy, the GTT will not need to be repeated.
I hope that helps.
