Is it safe to eat beer battered foods when pregnant

Resolved Question:

Is it safe to eat beer battered foods when pregnant? I am ten weeks, and I was eating beer battered onion rings. I didn't realize there was alcohol in my onion rings. They were so good that I had half the entree! I am very worried about the effect on the pregnancy.

Beer battered foods are safe when pregnant. If you're concerned about the alcohol, most of it gets cooked off during preparation. And there wouldn't be very much alcohol anyway. They're safe, although not necessarily healthful. Best regards.
