How old are you?
Exactly where is it? Any skin change?
Do you have a vaginal discharge? If so, what does it look like? Does it have odor?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

im 21

only found out about through an early pregnancy ultrasound last year

so no changes

on the sheet it says "a 5cm simple unilocular cyst in left overy"

Expert:  khagihara replied 7 years ago.
You should see your GYN to have a ultrasound to see if the size increases or not. If it is just a cyst and doesn't have a solid part, it is usually benign. But if it increases (bigger than 5 cm) or you have any symptoms such as pain, you should have the cyst removed to avoid torsion.

what is torsion
Expert:  khagihara replied 7 years ago.
Torsion means the rotation of the ovary to such a degree as to occlude the ovarian artery and/or vein because of the big cyst, which causes a severe pain.
