Resolved Question:

Two month pregnant female having lower abdominal pain on her right side. The pain comes and goes. Should I be concerned as to miscarriage or is this just a normal thing?

Right lower abdomen pain during pregnancy is a matter of concern and sometimes very challenging to reach a diagnosis. As you said, it's in lower right, if it's associated with fever, nausea/vomiting, and anorexia, then appendicitis can be suspected. Other potential cause could be PID and UTI. If the pain is severe and associated with other symptoms of appendicitis, PID or UTI then it's wise to visit your OBG for further evaluation, in this way you will have definitive diagnosis and an appropriate treatment.

No symptons present besides the occuring pain from time to time. Ranging form mild to moderate.

In that case, keep on observing, have her drink little more water, and see if it improves, sometimes, it could be due to non specific spasmodic pain. If you see any thing new then you can take her to a doctor ASAP.
