2012 Nissan Murano alternator not charging. First I did a
first I did a simple voltage check and figured out the alternator was not charging. I removed the alternator and had it tested at the auto parts store. The old alternator failed all tests. I had the new alternator tested also before leaving the parts house. The new alternator passed so I thought I was out of the woods when I installed it. I installed it and the car still isn't charging. I have run through making sure the fusible link on the battery is good. I also removed the control harness and made sure the pins 3 and 4 function properly which they do. I really feel like my issue is with the ipdm but I didn't want to pull the trigger on it until I spoke to someone with more experience then I have. … read more
