2004 Nissan 350Z

do you have scanner to read fault codes ? or if you did scan it what are they?

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 2 months ago
when i first had vehicle, security light was staying on with KOEO. Would try to start and nothing would happen, no crank. Self-test and retrieved codes P1610 and P1615. Did research and reprogrammed key. I only have one key and zero key fobs. Reprogram was successful and engine now turns and starts but runs really rough for a few seconds but that's if i slightly tap on the accelerator pedal.

Nissan Mechanic: Chad Farhat, ASE Certified Technician A6 - Electrical / Electronic systems A7 Heating / Air conditioning systems replied 2 months ago

0 to 5 volts and they are opposite when pressed to wot .

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 2 months ago
From .78V to 4.60V
Customer reply replied 2 months ago
They are not opposite
Customer reply replied 2 months ago
They both move the same angle instead of crossing
Nissan Mechanic: Chad Farhat, ASE Certified Technician A6 - Electrical / Electronic systems A7 Heating / Air conditioning systems replied 2 months ago

not supposed to, they have criss cross to be functioning correctly

If the anti theft is okay and u sure on that

we tb body , app pedal sensor and ecm involved ,supersizing no fault ,it should show fault in pending files ?

Mileage is around 189,XXX.
Well i bought the car not running. Previous owner claimed engine was replaced, clutch and ecm. When i started looking at it. ECM had incorrect vin number. Performed vin registration successfully. Afterwards, had to perform key registration. Vehicle starts but stalls with rough idle. Performed accelerator pedal released position learning and throttle valve closed position learning, just don't know if i performed it successfully.

ecm did not successfully program?
Nissan Mechanic: Chad Farhat, ASE Certified Technician A6 - Electrical / Electronic systems A7 Heating / Air conditioning systems replied 2 months ago

Ok now what testing can i do to determine which one it is?
Nissan Mechanic: Chad Farhat, ASE Certified Technician A6 - Electrical / Electronic systems A7 Heating / Air conditioning systems replied 2 months ago

CLICK ON LINK TO VIEW, I HAVE HIGHLIGHTED THE WIRES ON ECM AND APP SENSOR IN YELLOW

THESE WIRES NEEDS CHECKED FOR CONTINUITY

THEN READ BELOW, IF THE APP SENDING CORRECT SIGNAL TO ECM BUT ECM NOT SENDING TO TB BODY THEN U REPLACE ECM

The accelerator pedal position sensor is installed on the upper end of the accelerator pedal assembly. The sensor detects the accelerator position and sends a signal to the ECM.

Accelerator pedal position sensor has two sensors. These sensors are a kind of potentiometers which transform the accelerator pedal position into output voltage, and emit the voltage signal to the ECM. In addition, these sensors detect the opening and closing speed of the accelerator pedal and feed the voltage signals to the ECM. The ECM judges the current opening angle of the accelerator pedal from these signals and controls the throttle control motor based on these signals.

Idle position of the accelerator pedal is determined by the ECM
receiving the signal from the accelerator pedal position sensor. The ECM uses this signal for the engine operation such as fuel cut.
