We have a 2011 pathfinder, no start, won't communicate with ecm at all, U1000 codes in other modules

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?

I will clean them, they don't look great

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Pathfinder yourself? What have you tried so far?

I work at a collision shop, customer hit a deer, drove it home, and it wouldn't start the next morning had towed in. Scanned for codes, and checked fuses, charged battery. cranks, but will not start

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Customer did say that it was making a lot of noise while driving home.

he hit a deer, what did you replace ? ,did you hook up your scanner ( what kind is it) and can u see all modules ? ors is it not specific more like a basic code reader ,that u1000 is given by basic code readers ,if more specif or Nissan capable scanner we will have like u1002 ,1003 etc, that we can pull up a pin point troubleshoot

what is the security light indicator doing ?

is turning over and no start or it want crank over ?

We have a snap on verus, no comm with ecu, can communicate with other modules. I will go check security light. I don't recall seeing it.

This is the wiring circuit for it , and your can lines

now there fuses # 12,19 a 10 amp they power up dlc connector, these are checked ,i highlighted them in yellow color on wiring shematic ?

Hit in right front, light deer hit, replacing fender, right front door. No structure or wiring damage that we have found.

so that is the side of the ecm , did you take it off to do repairs ?

Well, a hard hit on that side, and fuse are checked and you can communicate with all other modules expect that one and no wire damage ,that leaves the ecm itself, my thinking the hard hot can break solder on the circuit board .

unplug ecm connector and check for any water intrusion ,any bent pins , backed out pins ,etc,, i doubt it but lets check

you have an open line or a short or defective ecm ,we have to have communication with ecm .,

with a test light , do we have power on ecm /

switch on ,back probe it

I found the wires you wanted me to back probe, and there ous no power there

ok these wires get powered up by the TIPM ,TOTALLY POWER INTEGRATED MODULE ,WHICH IS NEXT TO THE ECM then follow them back to the tipm box and then back to switch and see where are u getting power back on them ,take the ecm, tipm and battery apart and look in that area , if all was working prior ,we have issue in that area ,

I have continuity through the wires from the TPIM to the ECU, not sure where the power goes into the TPIM, no power coming out at the plug.

it is powered up from ignition switch

i highlighted the part showing power from switch

i also sent you the power circuit ,

all fuses checked and rechecked it
