Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
it is off while cranking

is the rpm needle moving while cranking?

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
every time you crank the car the car gets flooded. the gas is not being regulated going into the cylinders

change the regulator and check for fuel injector pulse

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
the RPM needle flickers alittle while you crank it. it doesn't really go up much
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
how would you check for fuel injector pulse

you would need a noid light. available at harbor freight or parts store. you disconnect the injectors, plug the light module into the connector. crank the engine and if it rapid flashes then the computer is commanding it to pulse.

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
ok I do not have one of those

well that about the only thing left to test before replacing the FPR

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
is there anything else you can think of that would can excessive gas to go into the cylinders?

leaky injectors. weak spark. unregulated fuel pressure

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
