Replaced radiator fan temperature sensor and fans do not…

Customer Question
Replaced radiator fan temperature...

Replaced radiator fan temperature sensor and fans do not come on. 2001 Nissan Altima 2.5L. Turn on A/C and fans do not come on.

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the connectors on the sensor itself? It's important that they not be loose or corroded.

Connectors are good, male and female. Disconnect connector at radiator fan temperature sensor and fans come on.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?

I replaced the radiator fan temperature sensor. Is there another sensor or the A/C to turn on the fans?

You did make sure that the engine is actually warming up? Because if the thermostat fails open in the engine cannot warm-up and then the radiator fan won’t kick on
