Voltage no.visual yes. Blew engine yr ago. Changed can and crank them. Back on road first time Monday..no issues or leaks. Tuesday I was hitting 4000 rpm and only doing 30. Came home swapped cars. And knew it was crank again. Replaced and drive and still no power..p0335 and 725 still

Ok...very frustrating. I've out on 3 crank sensors on this car since I've owned. Changed the cam too.
I'm borrowing a car and need mine to give this back. It's been a tough year.

Sorry. I work in the the automotive aftermarket and have been slammed the past 3 days. I have to get a volt meter today. I will see what it looks like this evening. I'm at a loss as to why this happened. I'm not driving the car as to avoid a second blown engine. More and more research has shown that this yr is full of issues. I do believe the cause of the first now up was an undetected head gasket leak.
Nissan Mechanic: david craig, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

All the ranges check out. Not visible damage. 3 morw throttle position sensors. 1 I am 2 aftermarket. 1 aftermarket had the prongs on the inside of the sensor bemt up. Swaped it 37th the oem same result. No speed and no power in take off. Swaped the own for the aftermarket and same result. So at this point I have a total of 5 crankshaft sensors replaced a long with a mass airflow and no results. I am of officially at a loss I explain... Very very disappointing to say the least.

Checking those now.
Also simultaneously p0725..engine speed not being communicated to the TCM to shift correctly based in engine speed.
Nissan Mechanic: david craig, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

Even though it checked out and visually seems not to be damaged I am going to look into a pigtail for the crank sensor.
Even I can cut and splice.
Nissan Mechanic: david craig, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

not always a bad idea. but these 2 codes are going to be related.
