Map/boost sensor hose came off and I cant figure out where…

Customer Question
Map/boost sensor hose came...

Map/boost sensor hose came off and I cant figure out where it hooks back into.

Mechanic's Assistant: Which particular sensor are you asking about? And have any trouble codes been triggered?

Boost sensor is what is molded on it.

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Nissan?

2000 maxima 3.0

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Maxima yourself? What have you tried so far?

Just discovered the hose is disconnected and cant seem to find where it goes. The vacuum on the sensor attached to the front radiator cross member.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Just need to know where the hose connects to.

link is not working

Ask Your Own Nissan Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
it wont link. the sensor mounted near the radiator has electrical on the top and vacuum on the bottom (hitachi boost sensor). follow the vacuum towards the engine and comes to a 't'. one leg of the 't' is about 1.5 inches long and is detached.
