My Nissan 2006 Altima is at a dealership where they are

Customer Question

my Nissan 2006 Altima is at a dealership where they are changing out the gear shift. Now they are telling me my kill switch is out. I told them that you always have to unlock my car before turning it on... am I being scammed?
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you noticed any leaking?
Customer: transmission is as old as the car, but my engine is under warranty for the life of the car. and there has been no leaking.
JA: Are you fixing your Altima yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: it is at the Nissan dealership
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: that is it
