it will not crank or start...has all lights..tested starter it is good put in new battery still nothing
JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working?
Customer: just put in new spark plugs a month ago...when I turn the key nothing happens it doesn't turn over it does nothing
JA: What is the model/year of your Nissan?
Customer: 2004 Nissan xterra
JA: Are you fixing your Xterra yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: fixing I said took starter off had it tested...changed the starter relay...its fine...put in brand new battery
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Okay on your starting system there are 3 fuses that you need to check first, they are the fuses 5 (10 amp) and 12 (10 amp) both located in the under dash fuse panel and the 3rd fuse is the fuse E (40 Amp) located in the under hood fuse panel. Let check them first. If all three check okay then you are going to need to do some testing . I have enclosed the test steps in the link below. Have a look and post back if you have more questions and or need more help and we can work from there.
