I have a tdc off light on and Slip light on in my 2004 Nis

Customer Question

I have a tdc off light on and Slip light on in my 2004 Nis Titan.
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: VDC and slip
JA: Are you fixing your Titan yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: YES checked brakes and fluid, fluid is full, front brakes are about 70% Rear are about 50%. I had a Clock spring issue and just replaced that but that doesn't have anything to do with these lights..
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no I don't think so

Hi .

If brakes and brake fluid are okay the next step is to check for malfunction codes .

You need to get hooked up to a diagnostic scan tool and have the system's checked for malfunction codes .

Most common issue for the warning lights is for one of the wheel speed sensors to fail .

If no codes its very possible that the float sensor in the brake master cylinder has malfunctioned .

A good scan and live date check will help diagnose this issue if no speed sensor malfunction codes are found .

Need further assistance then please get back to me with the reply box below.

Kindest regards Greg

wouldn't a bad float sensor turn the brake light on?
Expert:  Greg replied 8 months ago.

Yes as said master cylinder float sensor .

If this is stuck in the upper position or the magnet sensor fails .
