Does this light go out when you try to start the car?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I didn't see it earlier after it started. Let me see again.

Only blinks while car is off

That is normal, this light isn't killing your battery.

If you look in your owners manual you will see this little light is the theft deterrent and is always on when the key is out of the car. So, this means to me that you do have an issue with a parasitic drain on the battery, but not this little led light.

You can try some other things, like take the light out of the trunk and see if the problem is still there. If it is though, you are going to need to have it looked at. What I find most often is the body control module not going to sleep after you turn the car off. But again, you'll drive yourself nuts trying to get this light out. It's only a problem if the light is on when the car is running.
